Shiante Ousstyl vowed to put an end to Creed because of his desecration of his older brother's body, and was brought under Creed's control by a insect-like creature of Creed's make, simply dubbed as a parasite. Hence, a new threat was formed. Using Merik, Creed recruited several people under him not only to cause more havoc by bombing the harbors of Drache, but also to transport these parasites from a secret 'factory' located outside of Drache towards the city. Thus, every day life in the nation's capital got even more...well, problematic as people were being infected left and right.
Creed, once some of his old influence was established, started trying to eliminate those who might pose a threat to him. That included Chyna Walker, who was determined to find her sister Naomi (who was kidnapped by undead Llythande, then infected by a parasite), Talis Casiatin, for having a bone to pick with Vryce (as he killed the original Naomi and was more than pissed that he was back), Alexandra Kaisa for her information, and Jinnai Halfmoor because the recently licensed lawman had access to said information given the pair's working relationship. All and all, the city was once again in peril, and the entire situation was a great big mess.
Infamous for being a chaotic problem solver, Alexandra Kaisa started pooling in more information while Jinnai Halfmoor was involved in another case (intertwined with this plot is the escape of Coldhands, and several murders happening in Merchant's Square and assorted districts). While keeping contact with Adem, who she knew was Rhys of the Dragonriders (who had more experience dealing with Creed than anyone else she knew at the moment), and by pooling in other clues, she concluded that the parasite factory was located outside the borders of Sresar Vale, near a local mountain range around those parts. Jinnai and Lex left for the trip, and ran into Talis Casiatin and L'tara, who followed Lex and was found out (by that time, they were too far off Drache to turn back and drop her off there) along the way.
Keeping his past mistakes in mind, Creed set up his tower in a different plane where "two moons and never-ending darkness" were prevalent. This plane can only be accessed by something called a 'Mirror' which can only be located at night. One was set over the said parasite factory while another, under Morgana's discovery, was located somewhere near Drache. After piecing together some strategic tactics, another battle was about to ensue....
....or is he?
