Dracula: The Thirst
by Sigve Leland
Comedy

Review by CyberOle

In this movie, Dracula is thirsty for blood and sends his trusty servant Igor out to get him blood. Hmmm, I guess that's the whole story.
There are absolutely no special effects, no handpicked music, but at least it has voices. That's maybe the best part of this movie. The director manages to get perfect voices for all characters, and the quality is great! It's also very funny.
I recommend you get it.

Animation: 7 of 10
Voices: 9 of 10
Special Fx: 2 of 10
Music: 3 of 10 (uses only 3dmm music!)
Plot/originality: 8 of 10

Really Bad Boys
by Ole-Christian Rochmann
Action

Review by Sigve Leland

The movie is about two "bad boys". They're gonna meet their contact and get some money, or whatever... Some people try to rob them, and one of the bad boys meets his old girlfriend, or whatever... :) There's some pointless violence, but I guess he had to fill the movie with something, and it's not very much of it (but then it's a short movie as well...). WARNING! The song/awful sounds at the end of the movie almost made me hurl! PLUG YOUR EARS AND TAKE COVER!
I know this was one of Ole-Christian's first movies, and it shows. There are a few bad animations, like when Slam bends down over Timothy, and he's got the chair in the middle of his body, and when Slam lifts up Nakita and carries her away. The characters have got the names of the actors playing them (yikes!). There are a few things that don't add up, like the other guests in the airport cafe, who just sit there while Ramu, and then Slam tries to rob the "really bad boys", who, by the way don't strike you like bad boys... The fighting scenes don't look too good, but they never do in 3dmm-movies anyway. The story is ok...

Animation: 3/10
Voices: -
Special Fx: -
Music: 2/10 (3DMM-music and a terribly misplaced "theme from Beverly hills 90210)"
Story: 3/10
Overall: 2/10

Tom the Braindead Maniac
by Ole-Christian Rochmann
Comedy/action/gore?

Review by Sigve Leland

There's not much of a story, except Tom the Braindead Maniac snaps and goes to kill, kill, kill... Now, that might sound very negative, but the movie is quite funny (intentional or not...). The animations are reasonably good, except for when Tom walks through a pole and a few of that kind. Many other animations look quite funny, but since I don't know if they're meant to, I can't really say if they're good (but that's what got the movie 3 of 5 on animations).
The MIDI's are taken from different sources, and are quite good, but they sound very low, and they sometimes seem like they've just been used because the director didn't want to look around for any better...
There aren't many special FX in this movie, so I can't really give it a good rating at that (makes me think the FX-rating should be only for movies that actually have any, like Godzilla...).
Ole-Christians voices are somewhat mediocre (as he himself admits), but I loved the part where Tom says "oooh, a party, killkillkill", but that's perhaps more the whole setting and the accent and everything rather than the voice.
All in all a reasonably good movie (certainly better than "Really Bad Boys"...), and because of the small size it's worth the download.

Animation: 5/10
Voices: 4/10
Special Fx: -
Music: 5/10
Story: 5/10 (It's simple, but it's meant to be... Killkillkill)
Overall: 5/10

Assassins
by Ole-Christian Rochmann
Action

Review by HBK

Assassins was a very short film, but worth a watch. It follows a plot around the main funder of the CIA who gets killed by a man called Jack Samson. As the story continues Barry Silver is called into the action. I don't want to give the plot away but in the end as usual the good guy provails. I found the only downside to this movie was that in some parts it was downright unrealistic, but then again, movies are supposed to be, aren't they?

Animation: 6\10 (Good)
Effects: 7\10 (Very good)
Story: 8\10 (Very good)
Originality: 6\10 (Fairly original)
Voices/Text: 7\10 (Understandable)
Overall: 6.8\10 (Good)
