The images featured in this year's calendar are taken from the work produced by Coleridge children during creative arts week in May 2000. Children, staff and parents worked alongside visiting artists to stage a series of events in celebration of music, art and dance. Children explored themes linked to half termly topics, using a range of media and techniques including printmaking, clay work, painting modelling and textiles. Everyone involved was inspired by the level of the children's enthusiasm, imagination and willingness to out new experiences. This is reflected in the individual and collaborative pieces of artwork in this collection. Thanks to all who contributed their time and efforts to make the week a success.
