BALLET LEGENDS

MONICA MASON

Monica Mason inspired me. I danced with her for two consecutive years with The Royal Ballet. I would constantly write her letters and she would always respond when she left New York City to go back to London. I remember before one performance of The Nutcracker, I had left her flowers to be brought to her dressing room. I was getting my makeup applied by the makeup artist and received a note that Ms. Mason would like to see me in her dressing room after the performance. I remember being scared to death and very nervous walking to her dressing room door. She invited me in and made me feel very comfortable. She thanked me for the flowers and gave me an autographed pair of her pointe shoes. When she would dance by me on stage, she would wink at me and my heart would be filled with joy. I absolutely loved her and still do till this day.

HERE ARE SOME OTHER BALLET LEGENDS I HAD THE HONOR
OF SHARING THE SAME STAGE WITH AND DANCING WITH

LINCOLN CENTER'S
METROPOLITAN OPERA HOUSE
NEW YORK CITY
This is where I danced for two consecutive years with
The Royal Ballet from London
This theatre is massive. The stage itself was city blocks long. I danced to the
New York City Philharmonic Orchestra. We performed to sold out performances
every day. Sometimes I would dance in two performances a day. These were the
best moments of my life !
