I got the job in September of '99 when my previous EMT instructor felt sorry for me and gave me the job. When they actually pay me, it's a great place to work. I was working on contract, getting paid $6/hour with no taxes taken out, but this year they put us on payroll so that if i make over $230 every two weeks they'll take out taxes. This past pay check they only paid me $5.15/hour and you can bet I'm not happy about it! They said they'll correct it--we'll see about that.
But anyways, enough with that.
If you ever want to take college classes at home, call our office at (903)886-5927.
If you tell them that Carrie referred you, it wont do you any good, but
maybe they'll pay me more. (just kidding.)
I work with a lot of people...
the first is of course, My Boss.
His name is Dr. Bob Folden,
and he's pretty cool...even though I don't see him much. Bob oversees
pretty much everything from the Real Estate, to Correspondance courses,
to the Fire and EMS program.
Then there's the Girls in the office. Nancy, the main secretary, is the one I work with most often. Lisa and Betty (who just started in January 2000) handle all the continuing education classes and stuff like that. Then there's the new girl, who started this summer (2000), I dont know much about her at all, and I dont have a picture of her yet.
And of course, I cannot forget our beloved Fire and EMS guys. Mike Bobbitt is the director of the EMS stuff and he's the one who got me this job. Then there's Eldon, Bobbitt's "partner," who doesn't care for me because he thinks I'm obnoxious. Carl and Harold run the Fire program, but I dont have a picture of Carl yet. And there's Jack, and even though he's awesome and cool and stuff, (and he LOVED my Christmas decorating skills,) I have no earthly idea what he does. But nevertheless, he's cool.
Like the background? It gives me a headache after awhile, hehe.
