Oh my God! I grew up to look like these two!
My Grandma Swanson, and my sister Barb.
OMG! Is that me in those plaid pants?????
My Grandpa & Grandma Swanson, and Barbie
Then Barb started to grow up. I remember getting these pictures taken. I hated every minute of it!
Maybe that explains why today I hate posed pictures!
Another shot of my grandparents Swanson
My Grandma Jungquist & Leo on their wedding day
They had their wedding at my parents house
Oh, my!! Could I strike a pose or what??? Okay here we go...
My Aunt Cindy is holding my cousin Jay, I'm striking the pose in front of my Mom, My Aunt Marlene is holding my sister Barb, My Aunt Ingrid and my cousin Lynette in front of her. Anyone have a clue to who and when?

Why Mom??? Why did you let me go out like that????
The lady who once gave me "tang" and from that point on was a member of the family

Funny, some 15 years later, I would call Bradenton, Florida home.
This was our first trip to Florida circa 1978

At My Great Grandma's house. Lynn, Great Grandma Stewart, Chad, Jay, Me, Ben, and Barb
Me! (Wasn't I so cute) Around 1982 I was conducting an acolyte meeting at St. Luke's
Okay I had to put this up. Not because it has Mom in her bathrobe, but to prove once and for all that that DAMN orange and lime green paisley wallpaper was UGLY! And the lime green trim?? Mom, Dad, what were you guys smoking when you picked that out??????
Now during the winter of 1983 I was a very confused young man. (I know this now in retrospect, at the time hell I was a teenager, but had even more issues) so I convinced my parents to let me join the army. At the age of 17, and during the summer vacation between my junior and senior year of high school I want to basic training at Fort Sill, OK. Now I am so glad I had that experience, it taught me a hell of allot, but most importantly it helped me define my leadership skills that were budding. I did enjoy it. However, basic training did nothing to help me "fix" my other skills that were also budding. So here are the pictures of me coming home from basic.
Arriving at the Erie airport. Damn I looked good. Oh yeah, Basic did help out one way, gotta love a guy in a uniform! LOL!!! That's me and my "girlfriend" Tara, who made sure she wrote me every day.
She is a great gal!
Striking a pose at home for Mom.... Remember I hate posed pictures
Someone needs to show Mom how to aim for a picture!!!
(See caption on picture above to understand this picture)
Is that thin person still inside me???
Well flash forward a few years, and the kitchen got much better looking, as did Mom (but she's still in a robe!)
. This Christmas all she wanted (besides me home) was a new set of dishes, Abundance was the pattern, and I gave them to her in a Kid's tea set! Now I have to explain that I had told her that I wanted to really get them for her, but I was broke and couldn't get them for her!
But I did get her an entire roll of bubble wrap so she could pop until her heart was content!
Now I had told my Dad about the "gag" dishes for Mom, and to make sure that he got pictures of her. Now with my Mom I told her that I got Dad a set of tools at Sears for a steal, and it needed to be the last thing opened Christmas morning, and she was to get a picture of him opening it. Here he is realizing what I got him...
New dinnerware!!!! So they did get what they wanted, and I got to give them both a good laugh!
Here's my Aunt Pat (slurp! - It's a private joke, don't ask) and my Uncle Doug at their house
Now my Aunt Pat is famous for stopping by,
and using you potty before saying hello.
Here's my cousin Laura in her parent's kitchen
My Mom and Laura's husband Dave
My Grandpa Stewart, My Dad, and my Aunt Cindy
Dad, Lynn, and Aunt Mar
My Aunt Mar, and my cousin Cole
Cole must have got a new jacket for Christmas

Okay here we go.. left to right
