and she's failed all her classes but she doesn't mind

as they wait for the bell to be heard
it's the end of the term finally
it's taken nine months for this seed to mature
I'm tired I can feel the gravity on my bones
blankets are all that hold me back now
Warren and Erin turn to go home
and the readhead takes a bow

this rocket's ready for a trip to Mars
it's just waiting, inert in my head
