Questions Kids Ask About God

Question: How can God hear everyone's prayers at once?

Answer: God can hear everyone's prayers at once because God is everywhere. We can only be in one place at a time. But God is not like us - He is not limited. Not only can God hear and understand everyone who is praying to him in many different languages, but He also can give each person His full attention. Isn't that terrific?

Key Bible verses:
Jeremiah 23:23-24; Psalm 139:7-12

My views:
I always wonder if God could hear my prayers. Was my prayer too short or too long? Did I forget to confess my sins or thank God when I prayed? Was my prayer pleasing to Him? I had so much doubt whether God could hear my prayers, but do you know what? Not only did God hear them, He also answered them! God had done much wonderful things in my life and the lives of my family and friends. In Issue # 22, I mentioned that God healed my father and sister of their illnesses after my family had prayed for them. Well, here is another prayer which God heard and answered. In late December 1998, my brother re-dedicated his life to Jesus Christ after years of backsliding. My family's prayers have been answered, and that was the most special Christmas present we ever had. Isn't God wonderful? Now, let me pose you this question, if you have never prayed to God before, would you like to do so now? If  your heart says yes, click here. See also related topic in Issue # 12.

Last words...
"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me." (Revelation 3:20)
