I got my first tattoo at the age of fifteen (in a trailer behind a bar in the U.P.) I realized that the tattooist couldn't draw. I asked him if he could draw and he told me "no", as he re applied the stencil half way through the tattoo. It shockedme to think he was doing tattoos and he couldn't even draw. That when i first thought, "this is something I could excel at since I've been drawing since I was 7". So the guy made a machine just like his and sold it to me for 60.00. It was hard to find customers at the age of fifteen so I tattooed alot of my friends for the next couple of years.

I moved back to lower Michigan and made enough money with that machine and a modifued machine to buy a proffessional set up. At the age of 18, I was learning from an award winning artist from the area, Neil Foster. I noticed the benafits of beoing profesional right away and have never used a homemade tattoo machine again. I've always strived for perfection with my art and consider myself a realistic artist. I always look for better tattoo pigments and equipment. As of now, I've never sent any of my tattoo photos into any magazines, but it's 2001, maybe soon.....

At the age of 21 I opened my first "Shop". I rented a large room with shiny white walls, I built a wall, installed some lights, layed some carpet and tile, and the place was really looking up. It didn't even have a name....just me.....doing tattoos. It was really busy, really really busy. And to make a long story short, I'm now 28 years old, have been dong tattoos ever since. I started working at Body Flash Tattoos in March of 2000.

Being back in my home town, I run into a lot of people I knew and meet new people every day. I really like to draw. I guess I think every person needs an original, a tattoo tha is perfect for them. They will always look at it and think of how that tattoo describes, it is like a reflection of their soul and represents a time period in their life.

So I'll keep putting pictures on the net for you to look at, but maybe let me draw an original for you.
