(Abstract of the 1997 Project) 
 

SUMMARY

Within this research project we developed a more natural interface as usual by use of intelligent, interlingual, graphical or more (three) dimensional technologies.

The reason is to get a direct and easier access to the rural data and information base, to increase the technological experiences and acceptance of the inhabitants and to create a stronger social touch or interaction by a direct implementation of transparent structures of democracy.

This is supported by the installing of public terminals that are actually working as a free and open computer school, public telephone, bulletin board, newspaper, weather station and forecast as also traffic cam and analyzer as well.


OBJECTIVE


*Education

We have to educate our students, to demonstrate technological solutions and to equip them with broad knowledge and wisdom.

In our special subject they will be prepared for the foredooming events and developments in information sciences, web knowledge and information brokering.

*Technology

The Mission is to improve our technological skills and to present our medial abilities - that means we are and able to working on the top level of communications.
Examples therefore are the upcoming worlds of Cyberspace and multimedia.

*Business

To obtain a position where we can use our experience and knowledge to strengthen a company's international ties.


SUBJECT


*Meta

Research of communication, intercourse or way how to deal with multimedia - essay for designing, administration and reception of information, research of the structure of the Internet, kinds and channels of communication, matter of course of the participants, censorship and possible risks and results for a society.

Empirical exploration of cognitive perception transformations under interlinked or wired conditions; inquiry of possible alternatives and reactions in private and public communication. The object is to find out a communicative strategy under wired conditions of growing interlinking, interconnection and combining of information and material, information war, risks and danger for the individual during this transformation process; development of recommendations for regulation authorities and content provider.

*Structure

Presentation of a given structure under adequate cognitive conditions, development of (narrative) filter systems, adoption structures as like language, definition, resolution, distance and position;
Analysis of data streams, information transfer and communication behavior.

*Design

Example adoption for the German industrial town Halle/Saale influenced by the historical, industrial and cultural past, contemporary directions;
Embedding of industrial, administrative and design attributes to reflect the transparent structure.
