ABOUT SKILLWORKS

"Skillworks" is a consultancy service operated by David Yacopetti.

David is a qualified workplace trainer with a broad range of skills and experience gained during   28 years in the Australian workforce, including management, small business and community sector roles.;

His focus is on providing responsive, customised facilitation services for Australian businesses and organisations in both the private and public sectors.

He facilitates activities such as :

training, learning and assessment for groups and individuals;

communication and conflict resolution processes in the workplace;

team building and team maintenance activities;

planning and review activities for small businesses and other organisations.

Skillworks  is registered as a small business in Tasmania, but operates anywhere in Australia and New Zealand. Where required, David uses alliances with Registered Training Organisations and/or other consultants to satisfy accreditation or other requirements.

Karen Torenius

Karen Torenius is a Registered Nurse with over fifteen years experience in acute care roles in major teaching hospitals in Hobart and Sydney, including Nurse Unit Manager, clinical trial coordinator, clinical educator and quality assurance facilitation roles.

Karen's qualifications include a Diploma in counselling from the Australian College of Applied Psychology,  and current workplace assessment qualifications in both  the VET (Vocational Education & Training)  and Nursing sectors. 

She currently specialises in workplace training, and assessment  for Health and Community Service Industry traineeships, and facilitating quality assurance programs, while maintaining her clinical expertise in acute care.

Sally Kay

Sally Kay is a Registered Nurse and Midwife, with over twenty years experience including acute care in major teaching hospitals in Hobart and Sydney, Independent Midwifery Practitioner, workplace training and assessment, and has been teaching ante-natal classes for fifteen years.

In addition to Nursing and Midwifery, Sally has a current Workplace Assessment qualification, and an Associate Diploma in Ante-Natal Education. 

She currently specialises in workplace training and assessment for Health and Community Service Industry traineeships , while maintaining her clinical expertise in acute care.
