Abyssal Fjord

This place is a rare sight, outstanding in both sight and matter. It is a continuous flow of lava from the Ashteeth Mountains meeting the waters of the Blackmist Bay. Instead of hardening into volcanic rock the magma and water merge into several swirling eddies. These eddies resemble quicksilver, and it is thought they are portals to the Abyss, but no one is sure.

Blackmist Bay

This brackish bay is almost always under a blanket of black mist. The mist is caused by the heavy volcanic activity in the area. During peak eruption times the mist increases and the water has been known to spawn black puddings.

Feral Lands

These savanna plains are riddled with sparse groupings of trees and tall grasses. It is a mostly untamed area, having very little than the occasional outpost or fort to remind one of the civilized lands. There are many large creatures including dinosaurs here. Many tribes and ruins can be found here in this wilderness.

Forest of Decay

The site of the largest battle fought on the world of Nergalis. The land is cursed and only grows fungus. The largest fungal forest is found here as well. The ground is still red from all of the blood spill, and the small of curdled blood remains in the air.

Pit of Ash

Once the Xuult Jungle, and home to the Xuult lizardman tribe. This area was destroyed when Pestilence and his armies invaded. Some of the survivors found homes in new tribes scattered across the world, but most are loners or dead. The pit is now devoid of the lush flora that once was in abundance, instead only cursed plants and foul creatures dwell here. Ash golems and giant insects make the outskirts of the pit their hunting grounds. It is rumored that Pestilence has a mighty fortress at the centre of the pit and many of the fallen lizardmen are now his undead slaves.

The Great Fungal Forest

The home to one of the greatest elven settlements, the forest is comprised of redwood sized mushrooms.

The Great Web

The Great Web is an enormous network of webbing suspended over a series of great chasms. No one is sure of what created the webs but it is rumored to have been a serpentine creature that dwells at the bottom. The Kingdom of the Arachnids is found with in the pit. Many different types of arachnids make this their home. The kingdom had taken many centuries to be created. Many of the webs are strangely fire retardant being valuable for this reason.

The Hell Plains

Known for it�s unpredictable and bizarre weather among other things. The plains are home to the bloodstorms and razorwinds. Bloodstorms are cloudbursts of blood and gore, while the razorwinds are able to flay the skin off a dragon at their peaks. Razorwinds are also the source of the bloodstorms. Many believe that this area is an extension into hell itself. Most of the storms are quick to arise and end. Many large carnivores and scavengers stalk these ground finding much free sustenance.
