At present, the Marikina Fire Department is
composed of 2 commissioned officers and 71 noncommissioned personnel. They are distributed
in nine (9) fire substations and a Central Station.
The facilites of the Marikina Fire Department include a Base Radio Transceiver,
7 mounted two-way radios, 5 hand-held radios (BFP); 4 units of PLDT telephone (land line).
It is equipped with an ambulance, fire helmets, fire boots, coats, gloves,
lengths of 1½ diameter firehose, breathing apparatus, and 8 firetrucks all of which are
operational.
