Personal Background:
Born to an Ellaran middle-class working family in Arcol, Kenny's parents were kidnapped by a KAAVAAK strike team. He was missed in the shuffle (His parents were deep cover Kargan agents. They were about to turn against the Kargan Empire when the KAAVAAK team recovered them. They have since been "debriefed" which has left them with no memories of Kenny.)

Because of this, he has a bit of a chip on his shoulder toward Kargans, but he would rather find his folks (who he believes are Elleran citizens) than constantly start brawls with Kargans (though the occasional brawl is acceptable...).

His military career has been anything less than boring. In his first mission, he and his wingman (Pvt. Marilis "Mad Mari" Harcourt) both lost their Scimitar mektons when they encoutered an Axis terror team while on routine patrol. They managed to stall the terror team long enough for reinforcements to arrive and turn the Axis mektons back. However, both were fined for being 85km from their patrol zone and spent most of the year paying the fine.
going AWOL was a failure. Due to the successful rescue, the two weren't court-martialed), and making derogatory comments about Nissan Advanced Design Group meks and test pilots (which earned him an intense rivalry with NADG test pilot Brett Kinkaid).

Despite all of this, Renolds and Harcourt were nominated to be transfered to the UAA. Renolds is awaiting final orders, but due to a broken leg (from a mountaineering expedition), Harcourt will be unable to transfer for at least the next 2 months.

Kenneth is an only child.

He has 5 good friends:

Nevan Dellis (Elaran Male 19), Kenny's oldest friend. Both have known each other since childhood. Ran together with Kenny and Ferris Malone. Currently works as an architect and engineer back in Arcol.

Nova Maloone (Elaran Female 14), Danica & Ferris' younger sister. Wants to join the Elleran Defense Forces and be a mekton pilot like Kenny. She always asks if Kenny will sponsor her. He's not so sure that's such a good idea...

Marilis "Mad Mari" Harcourt 17), Mari is Kenny's absolute best friend. Though they only met at the academy, they have forged an unbreakable bond and are soul mates. Both have some common interests (though Mari tends to like some "quiet time" sometimes) and are a devatating pair up. He handles the close-in work, while she handles distance attacks. Got her handle due to her sometimes hair trigger temper. When asked if they dated, both laughed. Kenny replied, "What, and ruin what we got?" Mari then punched the guy's lights out and started the brawl. Wants to be paired back up with Kenny in the UAA, but is stewing and going stir crazy due to her broken left leg at present.

Danica Malone (Elaran Female 26), The eldest of the Malone siblings, Dani is the most sane and centered. Where as Kenny and her sibs always dream to the stars, Dani is the one that keeps the dreams from shattering. Always supportive, she shows sometimes infinite patience. Dani is a doctor at the Arcol General Hospital.

Ferris Malone (Elaran Male 17), The middle child of the Malones and friend of Kenny and Nevan Dellis. Currently in the EDF Academy training as a Technician. Hopes he can join Kenny in the UAA some day.

Sgt. Victor Bandyll (Elaran Male 22), Sgt. Brandyll can't stand either Renolds or Harcourt due to their total lack of discipline. Tries to make both of their lives as miserable as he possibly can manage. Has recently considered requesting a transfer...

Col. Brett Kinkaid (Elaran Male 19), A crackerjack test pilot, Kinkaid has nothing but contempt for Renolds. After some comments about NADG (Nissan Advanced Design Group) meks and test pilots ("I thought these things were supposed to at least be able to take ONE hit from an autocannon!" and "Weren't test pilots supposed to discover the fact that the thrusters on a Scimitar don't slow you down much when you're falling at terminal velocity?"), he hasn't cared much for "the little punk-ass mek jockey."

Romantic Life:
He's currently dating Elsie Fukioma.

Elsie Fukioma (Ettaran Female, 16), only daughter of Cavern City's Fukioma Sona and Message Parlour, and whose parents can't stand him ("That boy needs discipline and a severe beating!"). He tries to avoid her father but always seems to find "daddy dearest" around far too many corners (he suspects cloning is involved).

Personality: Rash, brash, overconfident, and always in motion. Kenny is the epitome of the hotshot rookie mecha jock. He rash, brash, and and far too overconfident. He never underestimates the enemy forces, he just sometimes overestimates his own abilities. Amazingly, he isn't dead yet, but some fear he will eventually bite off more than he can chew...

Out of a cockpit, Kenny is always doing SOMETHING. He's always working out, jogging, hiking, camping, exploring, helping out the techs in the repair bay, clubbing, or doing anything to keep his muscles from turning to mush.

Whenever he has leave, he always goes back home to see his old friends in Arcol (the closest thing he has left to a family).

His nickname of "Krazy Kenny" developed due to his adrenaline junkie nature when off-duty. He has been involved in numerous minor accidents (none major yet) while following his sometimes very physical pursuits. He is also known for fast and eratic driving and piloting of civilian vehicles (along with numerous speeding tickets).
