Thomas requested admission as a freeman on 19 Oct. 1630 and took the oath 18 May 1631 in Dorchester, Massachusetts. The last record of him in Dorchester is 1636.
Records between 1637 and 1670 have him in various places in Conneticut finally settling in Hartford in 1644 where he ran an "Ordinary" (a type of Inn or early motel) until 1652 when he sold it. Bought land with his son-in-law Elder John Strong in Windsor, CT in 1647.
