Table showing multiple lines of descent from 3 sets of my 10th (& etc.) Great Grandparents Robert Royce & Mary Sims/Simms/Symmes, Captain Thomas Hart & Ruth Hawkins, & John Roote Jr. & Mary Thomas Kilbourne, to my Great-Great Grandfather, George Melvin Root:

George Melvin Root (1886-1967)

Also, as it is implied on the above table, Mary Austin thus also descends twice over from Hannah Churchhill/Churchwood, wife of the above Samuel Royce (and thus so also do George Melvin Root and others on the table). Samuel & Hannah are yet another set of my 10th Great Grandparents.

Alternatively, here is the info in graphical format:

Table showing 2 routes of descent from my 13th Great Grandparents, Sir Thomas Southworth & Margery Boteler/Butler to my 3rd Great Grandfather, William J. Allison. However, given the conflicting info on the earliest Allison's and the unconfirmed Allison-Ellison connection, the right-hand side of this table very well might be incorrect.
Sir Thomas (de) Southworth, Knt. (1496/7-1546) & Margery Boteler/Butler
Sir John Southworth, Knt., MP (1521/6-1595)Dorothy Southworth (~1521/36-<1592)
Thomas Southworth (1548-1617)Jeffrey/Geffrey/Galfride Rishton
Thomas Southworth (~1590-?)Mary Rishton/Rushton (~1591-?)
Thomas Southard (1616/28-1689)John OR Thomas Ellison
Abigail Southard (1671-1726)John Ellison Jr. (1675-1754)
Edward Spragg (1696-1785)John Allison (?-1754) ?
Elijah Spragg (1740-1808)John Allison (c.1720-1782)
Samuel Spragg/Sprague (1770-1816)Benjamin Allison Sr. (c.1750-c.1820)
Catherine Sprague (1809-1861)Benjamin Allison (1810-?)
William J. Allison (1843-1913)

If you include the very questionable Gritman connection, then the following can be added to those above:
Elijah Spragg is my 6th GGF and Thomas Southard & Annica Van Salee are my 9th GGparents (and 11th & 12th if this is true). You can find Elijah Spragg, Edward Spragg, Abigail Southard, & Thomas Southard (the right side of this table) in the table just above.

It's also possible that there were two seperate Margaret Gritman - Edward Spragg marriages, with Edward Spragg, the Great Grandfather of the above Edward Spragg marrying the Grand aunt of the above Thomas Gritman, thus having two routes of descent back to William Gritman & Margaret Johnson with them thus being my 11th Great Grandparents twice over, but I have seen no proof for this.
