Send us your favorite Bud Scenes!

Here are just some of the BLA's favorite scenes:

Family Secrets: "When he and Harriet are lying in bed, right after her admission that she'd been pregnant before and he tells her everything is fine. <sigh> I thought that was just the sweetest Bud moment." (kathym)

The Princess and the Petty Officer: "Bud telling AJ about the death of baby Sarah was just too much for me. I still cry about it! I smell an EMMY!" (Katherine)

Imposter: "Who says Harm's always the hero? Did *he* climb down a rain spout and crash through a window to rescue anyone? I think not." (Katherine)

Wedding Bell Blues: "After dinner with his soon-to-be in-laws and Big Bud and Mickey - Bud went over to Harm's apartment. Bud sitting there, with his tie loosened and a beer in his hand, telling Harm, his best friend, about Big Bud and how abusive he was growing up. For some reason this scene got to me. Maybe because it was a such a guy moment and it's not too often you see men really talking to each other. I also think it was the start of the more mature Bud that we see now." (LoriD)

Against All Enemies: "'I love you' in Bud's own language! There is a scene at the beginning where Bud, Harm and Mac are getting ready to leave for an assignment. As Bud is about to exit JAG, Harriet tells him 'I love you!' Bud turns toward Harriet, a bit embarrassed, and answers, 'Hah Hamm Hamm'!" (Rosie)

Father's Day: "My favorite Bud scene is where he and Harm have to share the hotel bed and he starts talking about Harriet and what a little "heater" she is and Harm is giving him this funny look!! They have to share a bed because of the Quantum Leap convention!!!" (Jennifer, NTS)

Jaggle Bells: "He and Harm discussing the Spice Girls in an attempt to get Chloe out of the elevator shaft. Also, I don't know what episode, but it's the one when he first meets Webb and he introduces himself as 'Roberts' with that really deep voice. AND WHY WHY WHY DELILAH!!!!! How could you NOT put that one in there????" (Suze)

Above and Beyond: "This episode contains my all-time favorite Bud scene. He is away from home, he misses Harriet, he's had a bit too much to drink, he calls her and leaves a message on the machine, and then he gets up and sings "Delilah." I laughed so hard the first time I saw that, and I still enjoy it every time. Move over, Tom Jones!" (Lois)

People vs. Rabb: "Bud gets mad at Harm for not respecting him as friend. Harm is hiding out on a ship, he is wearing a Marine uniform, after Webb helped him escape. Bud brings Harm a bag of clothes, phone, etc., and Harm tells him to go before anyone sees him. When Bud resists, Harm almost takes him by the arm to lead him back to his car. That's when Bud flares up at him. He says something like, 'You can't do that. You can't just take someone who goes out on a limb and believes in you and diss him like that.' Harm replies, 'that's why I want you to go'." (Jennifer, NTS and Dancer)

Adversaries : "Bud does not know if he has to defend his father or not, and goes in Harm's office, and asks Harm and Mac for their feelings about it. He makes the questions and answers alone, and comes to the decision to defend his father and thanks them. He shakes Harm's hand, thanks Mac , but does not shake her hand and gets out." (Brigitte)

Wilderness of Mirrors : "Bud plays the role of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, and he speaks against the Admiral, and even tells him his time to speak is up. Then, he asks Mac if he was too hard on the Admiral." (Brigitte)

Ghost Ship: "Bud & Mac-- when they find out they are going to San Francisco, they are walking down the hall at JAG: Bud says 'WineCountry'; Mac says 'Fisherman's Wharf'; Bud replies 'B*B's'; Mac says 'Chinatown'; and they both are getting excited and Harm tells them they are not going on vacation, and then breaks Bud's heart by telling him that he can't go." (Jennifer NTS)

Rules of Engagement: "Bud is feeling low because he considers himself a "legal weenie". At the end of the episode, Mac has arranged for Harriet to call Bud to try and "stimulate" him, Bud is on the phone, while Harriet is describing herself as scantily dressed when, in reality, she is feeding baby AJ and wearing sweats. Meantime, Harm is telling Bud he can get him a ride in a Tomcat and even imitates the Tomcat flying, but Bud is too immersed with Harriet, he is really cute and you can tell really devoted to his wife." (Jennifer, NTS)

A Separate Peace: "I can't remember if it was Separate Peace I or II, I think II when Bud is helping Mac, and he doesn't uncover some information about the star witness against the CAG (I think he was paid money for his story by a tabloid or something) Singer and Harm nail the witness with it, and during a break, Bud is sitting outside alone, Harm joins him, and Bud says with the saddest sounding voice, "I really let the Colonel down." and Harm tells him, "Mac's a big girl she can take it." But Bud was feeling bad cause of baby Sarah's death; he just looked and sounded so sad. You can tell he cares deeply for Harm and Mac. He really was upset, not just," hey I messed up let's blow it off." You could tell it affected him, Bud CARES!" (Jennifer, NTS)

Lifeline, Above and Beyond, The Princess and the Petty Officer: "Bud in Lifeline; a drunken Bud singing Delilah in a karaoke bar with Mac watching; a weeping Bud telling the Admiral they lost Sarah." (Michelle Blackburn)

Webb of Lies: "Harriet comes to Bud's desk with his law school grades, wanting him to open them. He tells her he can't because Major MacKenzie always opens his grades, and she is his good luck charm. Harriet is a little miffed, and then later at home, Bud tells Harriet to go ahead and open his grades, that he has (something along these lines) a great wife, he is going to be a father, and he wants Harriet to do the honor. Of course Bud finishes 3rd in his class, but it was very sweet the way he came to Harriet and asked her to be his "good luck charm." (Jennifer, NTS)

Yesterday's Heroes: "Bud, Harm and Mac are in Florida, where they are coordinating from, Harriet is visiting her parents in Naples. Harriet calls, and is talking to Bud, who proclaims that he can't get away. Harriet then asks to talk to Mac, who basically tells Harriet that "yes, they can spare Bud for the afternoon," and as she hangs up, Bud has that look on his face and asks Mac, 'Did you just sell out Ma'am?'" (Jennifer, NTS)

"My favorite Bud scene of all time is when he and Harm were prosecuting the Serial Killer who kept throwing people overboard who were not cut out for the Navy. Harm had Bud act like a bumbling idiot to frustrate the accused into slipping with a confession. That was so funny!!" (Stuart)

Ghosts:  "When Bud is telling Mac that Bill the Navy Mascot didn't die of poisoning or whatever, but that he had a heart attack. Mac gives Bud this look and asks Bud who he knows this, and he tells Mac, with dead seriousness that he had the body exhumed. Mac has this incredulous look on her face like 'Bud you exhumed the body of a goat', but it just proves what *lengths* Bud will go to clear his client! LOL!!!" (Jennifer, NTS)

Every Bud scene is my favorite Bud scene. I just think he is the greatest guy and he always makes me laugh. Tori Rulon
