This is my heavy duty fic. One of the things
I've always liked about GWing is the angel theme
that can be found throughout it. As an "apocalypse"
buff, I also began to notice how much the series'
storyline mirrored the end of the world scenario
found in the bible's Revelations. I wanted to go into
this hidden story further, but I wasn't sure how to go
about doing so. Eventually this led to the original
Heart of Space fic, which was a stand alone for awhile.
However, I've since come back to my favorite theme,
and have decided to expand this into a series, and
explore the parallels in more detail.

Heart of Space is the story of five angels who
were sent to save the universe in its darkest
hour. Although the story will reflect on those
events, it's really about what happened to the
angels after the mission was over. Can they
survive in a world in which they do not belong
without falling from grace? Or will they become
a greater threat than what they were sent to
defend against? This is a story about angels
but be warned, they don't have haloes, and
this is not going to be fluffy and happy.
