The bodyguards

Who could tell that Rocky already is eleven years old? We adopted him ten years ago from our local shelter, and were told he hated cats... I wished the shelter workers could see him now, cuddling up with his dear kitties. He still believes that sofas were made for dogs, not for cats, but can easily be convinced of the contratry by a feline argument. What the cats love most about him are his long ears - just one touch with the paw, and they start swinging so neatly....
Sandy is Rocky´s daughter but takes more after her German Shepherd mother, in both built and character. Despite her size, she is a true lap dog and needs almost as many naps as the cats do. She is always ready and eager to protect the feline gang from admirers but probably not so much for fear visitors might harm them, but to get all available attention for herself.
