The pionus species is made up of a few kinds of sweet smelling, sweet natured birds. Most can learn up to 10 words, and they are a very quiet species. The pionus species is from South America. There is no way to tell males from females unless a DNA blood test is performed. If you would like to learn more about pionus, there is a wonderful article about these birds in the december 1999 issue of BirdTalk magazine. |
