The Iguana's Bible Study Connection
OK, here are copies of a series of Bible studies I have done over the past years. I include them here for your general edification as well as mental and spiritual stimulation. Write me regarding your thoughts on same. I certainly don't expect everyone to agree with me, but dialog is always the 1st step to gaining greater understanding, sez I.
At present, I have several studies of assorted topics and sections of Scripture. Some are mere scraps of thoughts, awaiting the addition of more (currently handwritten) musings. Others are texts of more complete lessons. Either way, you'll find them here.
In addition, I have a series of studies on the New Testament book of Philippians. I'd like to say they are readily identifiable based on Chapter and Verse so studied, but, alas, the best I can say is that they do start at the start of Philippians and end at the end (actually, a more profound accomplishment than some theologians can claim, sez I).

I'd ask that if you choose to use these mental murmurings of mine in any formal written or verbal communications of your own, that you be sure to obtain the permission of their actual author, yours truly, the good ol' Iguana. But, >really< now, if you ARE someone who would want to use these for the further edification of the Body of Christ, I wouldn't >have< to make such a request, and if you are NOT such a person, I'd be curious to know what would compel you to be inclined to do what I ask ANYway...? One of the definitely >minor< ironies of life, methinks.
As many of you might recognize (should you actually >peruse< my admittedly humble observations), I myself have benefited from and taken freely from the knowledge and insights of many marvelous Students of God's Word from over the centuries. I am especially indebted to Dr. Ryrie and his Study Bible, not to mention numerous Greek scholars and other theologians whose commentaries and Greek exegesis have enriched my efforts to both grow in Grace and communicate to others the precious Truths of God's Son, >the< Savior to a lost Humanity (uh, that includes YOU TOO, Dear Reader, in case you thought you could weasel out of anything here - har har).
Now here's irony for you - the vast majority of my notes on the Bible are handwritten and as yet are mostly NOT translated into electrons. Hey, creativity for me is a handwritten "thang" - I dunno, some sort of right-brain/left-brain "issue", no doubt. Fact is, which ever side of my teensy pea-sized lizard brain "types" is NOT the same side that "composes" - hence, the dang awkward bridge from handwriting to electrons. Maybe one day I'll invest in one o'them dictation transcriber programs... Till then, as I transcribe more notes, I'll have more "stuff" for here.
