Part I

Three years ago I arrived from overseas,

When I got here, I was quite pleased.

I was introduced to two great families,

First the Howard’s then the Crumps,

I met this beautiful lady called Colleen,

She is a mother with a heart of gold,

For she would not leave you standing out in the cold.

She has five children and a husband who love her a lot,

Add four grand children to fill the pot.

O Colleen, O Colleen how can it be,

That you can bring us so much glee.

You fill our hearts with so much warmth & love,

We don’t even need to wear our winter gloves.

You are a vivid St. Kilda supporter,

O how you hate when someone’s reported.

Every Saturday off to Waverley you go,

Not knowing if they can make it so.

And as for me and my wife,

We love you heaps through all the strife.

Please pass this page on to as many people as you know so that we can all give her the strength to pull through. I hope that each person that receives this page can say a little prayer for the more people that see it, the more strength we can give her and for everyone else who has cancer in the world.
