Across the world in the year 2000,
LDS Young Women have had the theme 'Stand as a Witness':
We will stand as
witnesses of God, at all times, and in all things, and in all places...
This website is one of the contributions our Young Women have made
towards this theme. Earlier in the year, the youth of Canberra Stake (of
which Queanbeyan is a part) had an Easter Convention with youth of Newcastle
Stake. Upon their return, Queanbeyan youth remarked on how good it was
to spend time with other Latter-Day Saint youth, that their own commitment
to the gospel was stronger for knowing that they weren't alone in having
their beliefs. Our website is born of that experience.
