COMPUTER FUNDAMENTALSEVALUATIONQuarter grades will be determined by the following scale:
90-100% = A
80-89% = B
70-79% = C
60-69% = D
0-59% = F1. Participation is an in-class activity (small group lab projects, interactive discussions, hands-on computer activities, etc.) and therefore CANNOT be made up regardless of the reason for absence.
2. Daily assignment will consist of keyboard warm-ups with a timed writing each Friday. Missed timings may be made up before or after school by appointment provided the absence is excused.
3. Class projects are in-class activities (small group lab projects, hands-on computer activities, interactive discussions, etc.) and therefore CANNOT be made up regardless of the reason for absence.
4. Homework consisting of outside reading and/or research may be given as necessitated by class projects. Because homework is project-driven it CANNOT be made up regardless of the reason for absence.
5. Tests/Exams will be taken on the day announced. There will be three (3) Texts/Exams per quarter with the two (2) best scores used in computation of the quarter grade. Because some of the Tests/Exams may be laboratory or on-line in nature, make-ups are not possible.
TEXTBOOKS
