Written by Kelly Riley I am just a lonely soul Searching left and right Trying to make sense of life Turn the darkness into light If I speak of my desires Please don't back away I have so much within my heart I have some things I need to say I sit alone all by myself Wishing things to be Yet they are mere dreams of mine They're not reality I have a need a vacant spot Deep within my soul I need to find the missing peace To fill that empty hole You could make me oh so happy My joy could only grow You could fill that empty pit And make it over flow I don't ask for anything special Or favor too hard to do All I ask is for your friendship The chance to be with you But if this is too great a request I'll stand back let you go But what could we have been together?
