Written Kelly Riley I stand in the hall In the midst of my peers Or so it seems The pain and the tears Of being alone At least on inside Nowhere to run Nowhere to hide What do you think? How do you fell? Does this facade Even feel real This mask of the world That we put on display Minute after minute Day after day Of treating each other With smiles and phrases My heart now feels Like a labyrinth of mazes Just try to go on I keep telling my mind And live with the rest The people mankind. But as I think of them The whole and the few It doesn't seem bad My buddies my crew My friends my family My teachers and chrones Each have feelings All of their own They feel bad too From one time to other But just as a family... We help one another... So I look down that hall And see those just like me They're human as well It just takes time to see... |
