They say that love can bring this peace And in everything get you through But one thing people do not see Is first it must be true But even if you try forever You will never reach this wealth Because in the search for your OWN happiness You'll only find yourself But although we are not perfect Please do not be dismayed Because when our love fails There's one that's ultimately displayed And the only thing we need to do To receive this love that's free Is to ask the One who gave it When He hung upon a tree For there's only one whose perfect And because we could not be He loved us to the point of death So love could be known by you & me And it's once you just except it And let that love live in your heart It's then you will have true peace And from joy never depart It's ironic how in all the world God's the last one some will try For there simply is no other way The rest is just a LIE!!! |
