My Life Style

Not exactly sure what to put here. I'm currently a student at Calpoly Pomona, and I ride my bike the 10 miles between there and my parent's house. I live in a gated community that is like most communities I have lived in, extremely alienated. I'm not exactly sure if it can justifiably be called a community at this point. I have my own car, but I have discovered I that I don't really need it, in fact, I haven't driven it in over two weeks. My bicycle is my primary personal transportation vehicle. I am a vegetarian. I gave up most junk food and dairy foods last year, and this year I no longer eat meat. I can actually say that I now enjoy eating more now than I did before. I spend a lot of time reading and studying books, magazines, and sites on the internet. My major at school is computer science. I am currently learning programming in java, and other basic stuff. I don't quite know what I want to do in the future, except that I would love to live in an intentional community like Twin Oaks. I am very concerned about the world and humanity's place in it. Here you can find a lot of information that doesn't bode well for our civilization, stuff that is not very commonly known despite being fairly obvious.
