Where can I get stationery scripts and how do I use them?

A very good set of "blank" scripts can be downloaded from Edgar's web site (see the Downloads section --Script Downloads & HTML tutorials).    This site offers a very good explanation of HTML scripting and is broken down into basic, intermediate and advanced sections.  It also offers tutorials on other types of stationery.

Additional scripts may be added to the download section of this FAQ from time to time, so be sure to check back.

Scripts may also be obtained directly from a stationery post.  (see "How do I acquire the script from a post?")  Once you have acquired a script, you will insert your images and sound files into the script.  For the basic scripts, you will have the opportunity to insert the following:

In the style section, set your font name and size, your margins, background color and font color.

Your background sound, set the full path and file name, loop-the number of times the file will play and volume (see "How do I reduce the volume on WAVs or MIDIs in a script?")

Your body background, which is the background image, set the full path and file name.

Your image, the script will determine the placement and movement of the image, you set the full path and file name along with the height and width of the image.  If you enter the height or width incorrectly, the image may appear to jump as it scrolls.
