To start making stationery you will need at least 3 things:

1. Code that runs the stationery. They come in many different styles. You have probably seen many. To name just a few - scrolling, non-scrolling, table, rippling water, snow, greeting cards. You can obtain many different styles of code on the download page. This link will take you to Edgar's site - he has a zip full of basic stationery. This would be the best place to start. You can come back and get more advanced scripts later. Go to this page and download the file "new blanks for OE5.5"

2. Graphics program: You will need a better graphics program than what comes with your computer. Most people use Paint Shop Pro. This runs around $80. There is a 60 day fully-functional demo available on the download page. At least that way you can try before you buy :-)

3. EM editor: This programs is like word pad, but handles larger files. You will need this for getting into the code and changing the names of the images and sound files. This is also available on the download page.

Once you have these three things, then you can start taking some tutorials in learning how to create images and place them into code for you very own stationery.
