MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY REPORT

All students will be required to do a project on management and technology in place of a thesis. This guided report will allow the student to integrate all the learning of the course through actual field work and development of strategies that will benefit the organization or firm under study.

    1. In the MTR, the student is required to write a project proposal about a topic that delves on some management technology problem area, with the end of contributing to the body of knowledge and for the benefit of stakeholders in an industry. This proposal will be presented in a forum consisting of faculty and students from the Graduate School.

    2. After having defended the proposal, the student can proceed with the conduct of the project, under the guidance of a faculty adviser. He/she is required to write a Report on the results of this study and to defend it before a panel of experts who shall assess and evaluate its merits on the basis of structure, content, originality, relevance, and implementability.
    3. The student is required to choose a faculty adviser who is a specialist in the field being studied, and who possesses at least a master’s degree relevant to the field.

    4. After passing the MTR oral defense, the student must submit three bound copies and a digitized version of the final report incorporating all suggestions and recommendations of the oral defense committee.
