Attention all Foreign Affairs workers of Chinese Universities!! My wife and I are looking for employment as English teachers in China. We already have three years experience teaching in Dalian, China. Hope and I finished our undergraduate degrees in 1991 and 1992. Hope received her degree in elementary education and is a licenced K-8 gradeteacher. In 1992, Hope and I moved to China where we studied the Chinese language fulltime from 1992-1994. From 1994-1997, we worked as English teachers. Hope has experience teaching conversation, listening, and reading classes at the undergraduate level. I have experience teaching conversation classes at both the graduate and undergraduate level. In 1997, we returned to the United States to pursue our Master's Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language. This year we will graduate from a state university with a Master's Degree in ESL. This program has helped us a great deal. We feel that we have improved as teachers and will be able help students with a variety of English needs.
Hope and I enjoyed teaching in China. We also liked the Chinese people very much and would like very much to return. But, first we must find a school that would like to cooperate with us.
