Fig.-Chandra Shekhar Azad shot dead

                This picture of Chandra Shekhar Azad was released at the Indian History Conference at Lucknow in January 1975. The picture shows the revolutionary freedom fighter lying dead at Alfred Park in Allahabad. He was shot dead in a struggle with the British police on  February 27, 1931.
