On a huge mountain
All covered
with snow
Is a great castle
Of which I know
It's
turrets are high
It?s moat is quite long
It?s rooms are like something
I heard in a song
From
it?s great big windows
Looking out on the land
I see a small ocean
Surrounded by sand
And
down in the valley
The unicorns play
They gallop around
In the sun all day
And one
of these days
I will live that place
Where
the sun that shines
Is as bright as my face
One day I found a stone
Lying on a path
It glistened in the sun
So I brought it home
Book I read about the
stone
Like the powers it
has
A description of the
stone
And how it came to
be
It was very pretty
And I had learned allot
But I put it back on the
path
For someone else to find
Now that I?m older
I bought a stone
myself
To keep it's
wisdom close to me
So I can teach
the wisdom to you
I see that
you
Are in
great pain
And though
I don't
Know you
I feel the same
For
the world is one
Big family
So we will help you
In your need
We
are here to help
You stand again
We will help you
Till the very end
So take the steps
You need to take
To start over again
And recreate.
The poem above I sent to Colimbine high
school after the shootings. May
they rest in peace.

I have a cross
It belongs to me
And on my neck
It will always be
There are fourteen stones
Supposed to be there
There are four left
But I don't care
For it's meaning is deeper
Then anything I know
It's important to me
And that I will show
Some one I love
Gave it too me
And that's why it's
Important to me
I know He loves me
I know he cares
And that's why my cross
Will always
sit there
I am walking by a river
The wind is in the trees
I see a Native man sitting
Near the edge of the river
He calls for me to come
So he can teach me his ways
I walk up to him and sit
And there I listen to his words
He tells me about his home land
About the birds in the trees
The great wise animals
And that they are his family
He
teaches me to respect the world
And to love everyone
And to take care of mother earth
Cause she's the only one
He
brings me up a mountain
From where I can see everything
And shows me just how much
We've hurt our mother planet
A
tear streams down his cheek
A tear streams down mine
To see all the destruction
It's hard not to cry
Then he turns into an eagle
And flies into the sky
Leaving me with a great wisdom
Which is really hard to find
Brothers and sisters My kin and my kind
Help me through my hard times
Guard me in my times of need
Help me to become free.
Brothers and sister
You paw at my mind
You teach me your wisdom
I teach you mine
Brother and sisters I need you comfort
I want your protection
I ask so kind and so well
It is at this time I need you help
So as I close my eyes to sleep
I ask my soul you guard and keep.
