Bone sink 2 is one of five bone sinks in Inner Space. They are very important to the cave. Over 144 different species of bones were found in the bone sinks. This site is a major paleontology study in Texas. Later in the tour you will see an area where scientists have studied and performed digs. The rest of the tour actually circles this bone sink. You will be able to see the opposite end. These sinks were once natural openings to the caves. They filled in over time and preserved the different species of bones.
