Breakdown Room

As you get closer to this room, you notice the humidity disappears and the temperature seems to go down. There is also a lack of formations in this room. This is caused by dolomite (the white rock), which actually absorbs water. The room is called the breakdown room because the dolomite actually absorbed water and became to heavy. At that point the large boulders broke away from the ceiling. Also in this room a fault line is visible on the left. Red rocks (iron deposits) mark the fault which runs approximately 250 miles long.
