He is the half-brother of Mason, son of Pamela Conrad. He came to the lives of the Capwells by saving the life of Sophia from a falling beam at Buzz`s, became the Capwell chauffeur. He was sent to Switzerland to help Kelly and brings her back home and they fell in love. Worked at the University lab with Dr. Alex Nikolas with the serium. At first he worked with Alex and Mason to destroy C.C. but then stops when he realises that he is falling for Kelly. He the went to work at the Delta Pharmacuticles. Had been married to Elizabeth in England who died in a car accident and Jeffrey was procecuted for it, but there wasn`t enough evidence to convict him. Is now engaged to Kelly. He plays piano well. C.C doesn`t like him.

Got his theatrical start at the age of 11, appearing in stage productions as well as films "Zulu Dawn" and "Safari 3000" prior to moving to England and studying at the London Academy of Music and DramaticArts. It was back to South Africa upon graduation and straight to work, starring in stage productions such as "Children of the Wolf", "Sweeney Todd", "Butterflies are Free" and "The Indian Wants The Bronx". His television work in South Africa includes starring in the primetime mini-series "Hospital" and "1922" as well as the television motion picture "Time and The Wood". Ross also played a supporting role in the TV dramatization of "Hamlet". He left South Africa in September 1984 and knowing absolutely no one in America, he flew to New York City, bought a car and drove non-stop for three days to Los Angeles. His determination paid off, for soon he landed the role on "As The World Turns" as Stewart Cushing, the British tennis pro which he played in 1985. Ross has since been featured on "Cagney and Lacey" in the controversial "Marathon" episode dealing with apartheid in South Africa. He has a passion for exercising, writing short stories and studying astronomy.
