| The studio press release for Along Came A Spider
is out and this is the official film break down, In Along Came A Spider,
Alex Cross (Freeman) is through playing mind games with criminals -- that
is until a methodical predator, Gary Soneji (Michael Wincott) kidnaps the
daughter of an United States senator from an elite school and leaves a clue
on Cross' doorstep. Soneji's not out for ransom; he wants something much
bigger -- a place in the history books. His every move is planned with the
precision of a spider spinning his web, and Cross and Secret Service agent
Jezzie Flannigan (Monica Potter) are in a race against time to stop him.

| Monica Potter is taking on the female lead roll in the film "Along Came The Spider" which is the sequel
to "Kiss the Girls" (CSO) (HFA NEWS) |

| According to a source on Darkhorizons, "Along
Came A Spider" will begin filming in January/February. Morgan
Freeman is attached to the film, which is the prequel to "Kiss the
Girls". The sources source if from the author, James Patterson. So
far no other cast members have been announced. (DH) According to CSO Angelina
Jolie and Winona Ryder are interested in leading roles.. I'll be happy either
way. |

| Lee Tamahori the director of "Once Were Warriors" is in final
talks to sign on to direct the prequel to "Kiss the Girls" the
film will be titled "Along Came a Spider".
Morgan Freeman will return as Dr Alex Gross. The characters are based on
those created by James PAtterson and his book series. The story will follow
the Dr. trying to find two girls before a serial killer does them. (CSO) |
