"Most believe that black magic is a very dangerous practice.
An early American scholar once said, 'the sins of one witch shall be cast
down on their descendants, including the innocents that surround them.'
In the year 289 A.D., a man by the name of Delini Nicholus was born into
a very wealthy family. Delini's father died when he was 45 years old. At
the time of his death, his father was a very devout Christian. The Catholic
Church was dominant in the southern portion of Turkey during this period.
Delini chose to follow in his father's religious footsteps. Delini would
creep into the homes of the poor and deposit gold coins into the stockings,
which were drying above their fireplaces. In the morning when these lucky
villagers would awaken, there would be hundreds of pounds of gold coins
in their stockings.
Nicholus became obsessed with helping the less fortunate. He could
be heard praying to God. It was during this time when Nicholus began to
perform miracles. He began to raise children from the dead. After the third
such miracle, the Catholic Church christened him a Saint. This is how Delini
became Saint Nicholus. He performed hundreds of miracles in the name of
Christ before his death in the year 369 A.D. At that time, he had completely
changed the economy of his village. Thus the legend of Santa Claus began…
300 years later, Ezachan and Tresler, two pagan priests from a starving
village performed a ceremony to prosper their village's crops against the
will of their elders. They performed this ritual in the spirit of Saint
Nicholus. This single event has destroyed nearly everyone in their village
and continues to destroy to this day.
The year 2000: A little girl Samantha Clayborne suffers from grand
mal seizures, the most debilitating seizures a person can have. Sam has
been suffering from this illness for 13 years, since she was 2 years old.
The doctors said she would die before she was 14. Kids tease her at school
and she has a very hard time fitting in. One Christmas, at the age of 14,
Samantha's seizures mysteriously stop and without warning, people around
her begin to die very violently.
Jill Clayborne takes Sam to a psychologist and they begin to believe
that her seizures are not a result of a brain dysfunction but more of a
supernatural origin. In the darkness of night or in the solitude of ones
own confines, the evil systematically kills anyone who is around or close
to Samantha. Sam's mother, and an ex-Catholic priest, Father David, unravel
a secret that has plagued and killed thousands in secret for hundreds of
years. Samantha and her mother spend the next twelve days of Christmas trying
to stop what has been unleashed onto their small town community." |
