| "Rollerball" will not be shot in
the future. Instead John McTiernan is scouting locations through out Canada
that can look like Central Asia. McTiernan has said the following "I'll
set it in Central Asia instead of way off in the future. I want the movie
to take place in a spot where they don't have modern conveniences like the
WWF.'' (CSO). This looks like it will be a very different film to the
first. The ref to WWF makes me think that this time around they are going
to play it up as a FAKE BLOODSPORT, not a REAL BLOODSPORT, or he could be
just taking the piss. |
