Unbreakable

Some of the silence has been broken on Shyamalan's next film "Unbreakable". There aren't any real spoilers (not that I will posting spoilers on this film at this site), but there are some character details. So if you want this to be a total surprise don't read the italics. Samuel L. Jackson, says of his role in the film, "I play a guy who has very strange bones. Every time he touches something, there is a chance that his body will break. And that's all you're gonna get, O.K.?" the other main role will be taken by Bruce Willis, who plays a secuirty guard that has a special quality to him after an unfortunate train crash. Robin Wright Penn will be playing the female lead now that Julianne Moore is leaving for HANNIBAL. (CSO) (HFA NEWS)

Some plot information on Shyalmalan's UNBREAKABLE project has come to light on Cinescape. Disney is claiming that the film is a superhero film, hence the reason for them not making POWER and GLORY a superhero film flying around. (CSO) (HFA NEWS)

News on the next M. Night film "Unbreakable" popped up on UPC While talking to USA Today columnist Jeannie Williams, M. Night Shyamalan described his next project as "a slightly larger cousin" of The Sixth Sense. The film tells the story of a man (Willis) who miraculously survives a train accident. Shyamalan says, "It'll feel like the same group of people made the movie. [Samuel L. Jackson will play] a stranger who offers a theory about why, and what he suggests kind of shakes up the family… It's not traditional action, no car chases, fruit stands turning over, [but] your heart should definitely be pounding." Production starts on April 17th on location in Philadelphia. (UPC) (HFA NEWS)

Julianna Moore is reportedly in talks to star in the next Midnight and Bruce Willis flick "Unbreakable" which will also star Samuerl L. Jackson. It will be interesting to see how Midnight follows "Sixth Sense". (D2K) (HFA NEWS)

UNBREAKABLE, is the title of the next film project that Willis and MIDNIGHT will be working on. Accordint to Horror Online, . The story apparently will revolve around the plight of a Philadelphia blue-collar worker (Bruce Willis) who learns something 'extraordinary about himself after a devastating accident.' As previously reported (see HorrorOnline report date 10/13), Samuel L. Jackson is expected to star opposite Willis, with shooting slated to kick off in Pennsylvania this April., looks like some more thinking horror if you ask me..
