Catherine serves as the star of a traveling circus. She is a well-skilled acrobat and knife-thrower. When Trowa Barton applies for a job at the circus to cover his identity, Catherine finds him very mysterious, so she tries to get along with him. Being somewhat successful after a few months, Catherine finds Trowa to be like her brother.

Catherine is very protective and caring, almost to a fault. More than anything, she wants her surrogate brother to stop fighting and join the circus permanently. She may as well ask the sun not to burn.
