Born in a military complex, Kahn was raised by his father to be the perfect soldier. Having never achieved his own view of perfection, Kahn became an obsession for his father, eventually leading to his death during a training excercise with his son. However, the seeds of total militarism had already taken root and Kahn simply continued, not only refusing to mourn his father, but actually cursing him for being so weak as to die in training.

Training camp after finishing school after fighting instructor advanced Kahn until he achieved his father's dream: no feeling, no fear, no hesitation, and no mercy. Flying through the ranks of OZ faster than Treize Khushrenada himself, he is now a member of the Roughnecks, a small, elite band of OZ specials.

Kahn is truly at home in the midst of combat, as his life has been nothing else. He is honest and daring, but nearly devoid of personality. When faced with excessive emotion, he is prone to stumble and pause out of confusion.
