After computing the descriptive statistics of the prices for the Nintendo 64 games and the Playstation games, it was found that the Nintendo 64 games were more expensive than the Playstation games but that the Nintendo 64 games had more variance in prices. The average price of the Nintendo 64 games was $8.16 more than the average price of the Playstation games. The medians also supported the conclusion that Nintendo 64 games were more expensive than Playstation games. The median for the Nintendo 64 games was $10.00 more than the median for the Playstation games. The standard deviation for the Nintendo 64 games is almost twice the standard deviation for the Playstation games. This is indicative of a bigger variance in the Nintendo 64 games than in the Playstation games.
