The Coven Of The Good Witch,
offers full courses from Novice through to Third Degree, as well as a series of bridging courses for individuals with experience in other Traditions who are coming to Akasha for the first time.
The full courses offered are each split into 3 series, which are studied one after the other. A series of practical exercises, discussions and studies, under the guidance of a Mentor, rounds out the training provided by the Temple.
Students at the Temple may choose to study topics without intending to follow through the Degree structure, in which case the courses offered can be taken fully by correspondence. However, should they choose to work through the Degree structure, the Practical exercises must also be undertaken.
The Temple also offers a program of alignment, whereby experienced Solitaries and members of Eclectic Covens may study bridging courses and thereby be initiated into the Akashan Tradition, without necessarily needing to start at Novice level. However, to obtain any Akashan Degree at any level, individuals must pass Degree Exams and Initiate. Upon Initiation, individuals may claim the Title of Akashan Priest/ess, at the level of the Degree or Weave they have obtained.
In this way, the knowledge and experience of Eclectic Pagans new to Akasha may achieve the status of Priest/ess without repetition of topics previously covered in their own Eclectic studies.
