Constable Rob
The D.A.R.E. Program is about Drug Abuse Resistence Education.
We went every Monday and Wednesday when Constable Rob and Mr Thornton took
us through the program which was fun and exciting. Every time we went, we
had to sing a song which was called, The Choice Song.
We recevied a booklet which was full of activities. We also had to make up
our own booklet, which was filled of our hobbies and favourite stuff. One
day we had to take something speacial to D.A.R.E. We got photos taken by
Constable Rob which we stuck into our booklets as well as T - Shirts. (Which
we had to make a $5 donation)
The best thing was the Dare day out trip out to the Rotorua Police Station.
We saw most of the things except the Guns. We got locked in the smelly cells.
Also we saw one of the new training dogs Sabre. Zak got his fingerprints
taken and we finished the day with a free sausage and a drink as well as
a swim at the Polynesian Pools. |
