The Internet is a wonderful vehicle for transferring information but we want
to make sure our children are not viewing objectionable content and are protected
when in chat rooms etc from forming liasons with people that could be unhealthy.

Remember to talk to your child about how to use the Internet correctly and
what is appropriate viewing.
Control access and make sure you only know the password to log on. If your
child finds out the password it can easily be changed by contacting your
Internet Service Provider (ISP)
Have the computer in a place that is frequently accessed by other people
Check the History on your computer as well as Favourites or Bookmarks
Dont leave your child isolated for a long length of time in front of the
monitor.
