This is what my original layout had started out like. I didn't get a whole lot further than this before I had to dismantle it and move, twice.
If only I had some track....trains running on paper!
A wider angle view of the Johnsonburg Yard area. Here you can see the upright supports and brackets for the second level as the vinyl backdrop. The trackplan has been drawn out on craft paper to see how it all fits.
