Kilvan is convoked by Ban. Ban asks him to accomplish his task. Kilvan thinks Ban wants him to kill Fly and his friends, but Ban answers it's not them. Moreover Hadora wouldn't appreciate. No, Ban wants Kilvan to kill the sleeping dragon...
The day has come that the whole team gathers together to attack the headquarters. Thanks to Poppu and the informations of Hyunkel they know now that the headquarters of Ban are situated on the Soil of Death and that the strength of their armies is strongly reduced. Only Ban himself, Myst and Kilvan and Hadora are remaining. The leaders of each country of the world decided to unite to beat Ban. They made a naval base in the north of Karu, the native country of Aban the tutor of Fly, but the country is now totaly devastated (don't forget Baran went there while Fly was still fighting against Freeze). But the ruins form an ideal hiding place. Leona, Meruru, Badaku and the sages of Papunika and some other people are waiting for Fly and the others to come. The first who arrive are Krokodin and Chiu. When the others ask how their training was they just say: "You'll see in the battle". Then Poppu arrives, he too is asked the same question, when they notice his clothing on his right arm is scorched. He also transmits Matorif's message: "I count upon you". Then Fuam arrives, they exchange some looks and finally Fly, Hyunkel and Ron Berku arrive. Fly seems not to be sure of his power but he claims he has done his best. Now they are complete!! Oh no, we have forgotten someone... Fly and Poppu dash away and soon come back. But what did they forget? Yeah, of course, as they are going to his native country, it's logic to take him back. Fly and Poppu hold up the writings of Aban! Yeah, it's the starting point of their story. If Aban never had existed, they would never have met each other. "Master come with us, we'll be all united for this battle!!"Kilvan finally found Baran's hiding place. He tried to enter without being noticed by Baran but underestimated the latters capacities. "Is it you, God of Death?..". "Fufu... I'm really scared now!" answers Kilvan. Baran asks Kilvan if he came to kill him. Kilvan answers it's his only mission. At the time Ban promised Baran to create an ideal country on earth by destroying all humans who spoil it. That's why Baran accepted to be commanded by Hadora. But Baran realized Ban's promise was false. Kilvan says it was not false. The humans will be destroyed but not only them... Monsters, dragons, all the creatures living on earth will disappear. They will disappear simply because the earth will disappear too. That's the project of Ban. Baran is surprised, but Kilvan continues. Ban wants to destroy the earth to uncover the World of Darkness. It's a sterile country where the magma is boiling permanently and only force rules. Ban wants it to come at the surface. Even Hadora doesn't know this. Kilvan starts to rotate his scythe and says:"That's the ideal country of lord Ban and everyone who opposes himself against it will be killed!!". Kilvan dashes on Baran, but Baran rapidly reacts and surprises Kilvan who thought Baran was still convalescent. He slices Kilvan in two parts. Then Baran leaves the cavern where he was hiding. But Piroro the little cyclop who's always with Kilvan arrives and sprinkles some powder on Kilvan. Kilvan takes his bottom and places it on the right place again.
When the Fly team arrive they hear that the naval base of Sababa has been attacked by metalic enemies. The guards!! They immediately decide to react but suddenly somebody tells them to stay there. He'll go on his own. The guy is Nova, the northern hero. He doesn't want the help of guys who call themselves heros. Baosun, his father asks him to stop but Nova is stubborn. He leaves with Rura on his own, our friends are surprised by his egocentricity, but also by his great combative spirit which he handles very well. Poppu is vexed and doesn't want to help Nova. He better has to learn a good life lesson. But Fly says it's more important to save the people of Sababa now. Poppu asks Fly if he isn't vexed. Fly says he's a little bit vexed but he says it doesn't matter who's the hero, it's better to have a lot of strong friends and moreover, he adds, that the number of heroes has never been limited. Fly convinced Poppu and they decide to go to Sababa with Rura. But Leona asks Poppu to take his new clothing made with the same procedure as that of Fly.
Nova arrived in Sababa and notices the devastation of the port. Then he hears a noise and sees the guards. The guards are disappointed to see another wimp instead of their heroes but Nova responds he's the only hero. Nova attacks Hym with his sword but its immediately broken at the contact of Hym. Hym tells Nova the guards bodies are of Oriharukon. But Nova replies his technique is also effective on Oriharukon. He charges his weapon with his combative spirit and creates a blade with it. He hits hym and this time scratches a little bit of Hym's body. The guards are surprised by Nova's strength. Nova's technique is called AURA BLADE. Then Poppu and Fly arrive but nova asks them to stay behind him and to watch him as he finishes him. Poppu and Fly are impressed by Nova's power too. Nova jumps and concentrates all his energy in his blade to invoke NOZAN GRAND BLADE and when he falls down he violently hits Hym on his head. The shock is so great that Hym is thrown into a mountain in the background. But he soon gets back. He congratulates Nova for his attack. Nova can't believe that Hym escaped to his attack. But Hym explains it was just a matter of concentration. Nova attacks Hym again despite Fly and Poppu trying to prevent this. But before Nova can do anything, Alvinas the Queen intervenes and invokes 1000 pikes to neutralize Nova. Alvinas says they have let their hosts wait long enough and wants to go to the presentations. The whole guard presents itself to Fly and Poppu. When Blok arrives he's holding the ship that was built to go to the Soil of Death. He throws it to Fly and Poppu, and the ship, full of explosives, explodes. But the explosion seems to be a unique opportunity to destroy all the guards in one attack as notices Poppu. While the smoke of the explosion is hiding them, Poppu prepares his ultimate incantation: MEDOROA!!
