Poppu has started the invocation of Medoroa... But suddenly Nova invokes MAHYADO to freeze the guards!! But Sigma the knight intervenes and reflects the incantation with his mirror of Shabal. Our friends are frozen and can't move. Poppu says the attack of Nova was fortunate because if the guards had countered Medoroa, they wouldn't have survived. But Nova has disappeared! When Fly and Poppu look in the direction of the guards they see that Hym has taken Nova. He throws Nova in the air and dashes towards him to finish him. But Hyunkel appears and perforates Hym with his spear.
The whole team is now together. Krokodin melts the ice with his breath to free Fly and Poppu. The two teams are now facing each other. The battle starts: Hym fights Fly, Sigma has to counter Fuam, Krokodin and Blok are wrestling and Hyunkel is confronted to Alvinas. Poppu is overviewing the situation and notices they are in a bad posture. Fly can't unsheathe his sword against Hym, Blok is too strong for Krokodin and Sigma too fast for Fuam. And hyunkel has also difficulties against the queen. And as they are not grouped he can't invoke Medoroa to eliminate the guards in one time. But Poppu is not alone, Fenbren appears drilling out of the ground. More than 40% of Fenbren's body is as sharp as a razor. Fly is still trying to unsheathe his sword but in vain. Hym wants to finish him but Nova intervenes. With the little combativity that is left over in him, he neutralizes Hym. At this moment Fly understands why he wasn't able to use his sword. His sword is able to make a better estimation of the enemy than Fly. Only when Fly will have to use all his powers in a battle, his sword will be accessible.Fly invokes his dragon sign and hits Hym in his left fist. Hym is severely hit and Fly knocks him towards Hyunkel who invokes Lightning of the virtual sky to eliminate Hym but Alvinas spits a needle in Hyunkels arm and Hyunkel misses Hym's nucleus (As they were created by incantation like Freeze, they have a nucleus that has to be destroyed to beat them). The needle is empoisoned and Hyunkel is soon healed by Fuam.
They all realize that the guards are stronger in their own speciality than our friends are. To fight them, they have to oppose them another capacity. Fuam now attacks Blok, Krokodin is opposed to Sigma and Hyunkel and Fly keep the rest busy while Poppu is invoking Medoroa. Krokodin, thanks to his new technique, snatches away Sigma's arm that is wearing the mirror of Shabal. Poppu makes a sign to tell the others to group together and then releases Medoroa. The guards are surprised and can't flee. Medoroa leaves a path of destruciton on its way and at first their seems to be no trace of the guards. Our friends compliment Poppu for his tremendeous incantation. But Hyunkel still stays in alert.
Suddenly the guards appear out of the ground. Blok plunged on his teammates just before Medoroa hit them, but was severely damaged himself. The two teams want to start round two when suddenly Hadora appears and asks his guards to come back on the Soil of Death. In fact it is only a hologram of Hadora created by his magic force. The guards obey and go back but our friends know they are waiting on the Soil of Death for the next battle. But our friends take advantage of this time out to heal the wounded and bring them to their hiding place.
Meanwhile Chiu went on his own to the Soil of Death. Chiu received a flute from Krokodin which is used to make monsters appear. If the person who uses the flute is able to defeat the monsters, the monster will obey him forever. Chiu already began to constitute a little army of monsters. For the moment there is himself, Gome, a flying reptile he called Papi and a little marine slime he called Sailor. While Papi is searching through the air for the entrance of Ban's palace, Sailor is looking in the see and Chiu on earth. Chiu finds the cane Poppu lost in his previous battle on the Soil of Death. Papi comes back and makes clear he found nothing. So Chiu presumes the entry must be under the water. "Good deduction..", Fenbren appears. Chiu and the others are chilled. Fenbren tells them the entrance to the Ban Palace is indeed under the see, but it is maintained closed by the magic power of Ban, moreover it's so strongly shut down that not even a dragon knight can open it. Chiu is surprised, because he doesn't understand how the guards can get outside and then back inside if the door is kept closed. Fenbren explains the guards received a special incantation that permit them to enter and go out.
Chiu thanks Fenbren for all the information and tries to flee, but Fenbren invokes Bagi and keeps Papi, Chiu, Gome and Sailor on the ground. Fenbren starts to torture Chiu, who's trying to protect his friends. Gome can't support the cruelty of Fenbren and gets mad. She flies into Fenbren's face. Fenbren falls down from the shock and Gome faints. Fenbren looks in the reflection of his metalic arm and notices his face is indented. He can't believe that a slime has done this. The body of Gome must have been harder than Oriharukon!!! He wants to kill Gome, but Chiu and the others jump on her to protect her. Fenbren continues to torture them, when suddenly a sword crushed in his eyes. The person who did this asks him to retreat. Fenbren disappears and the mysterious person too.
Somewhat later Poppu, Hyunkel and Krokodin arrive. They noticed Chiu and Gome disappeared and decided to search them. Chiu thinks Poppu, Hyunkel and Krokodin saved him. Suddenly Hyunkel asks Poppu to go back with Chiu and his friends without himself and Krokodin. Poppu doesn't want to go with them and asks them why they want to stay. Hyunkel begs Poppu to execute his order without discussion and Poppu obeys.
"Get out of there, I know it's you", shouts Hyunkel. Baran comes from behind a stone complimenting Hyunkel for his progress!
